Introductory Conversation

A focused 15-30 minute call or meeting. I'll guide our conversation, asking the questions that matter for your situation and answering yours. You'll leave knowing where you stand and what's next.

Your Scope of Appointment

Medicare requires a signed Scope of Appointment (SOA) before we review specific plans. See more details below.

Comparing Your Options

I do the research and bring you options that match your health and financial priorities, weighing not just costs and coverage but quality star ratings, member complaints, and premium history. We compare your top options side by side, and I help you choose what's right for you.

Getting Enrolled

When you've made your choice, I guide you through the application from start to finish. I handle the paperwork, confirm your start date, and make sure you understand what your new plan covers.

Year-Round Support

My work doesn't end at enrollment. I'm here all year for billing, network changes, or anything else that comes up. Each fall, we review your plan to confirm it still fits, or look at other options if your needs have changed.

What is an SOA?

A Scope of Appointment (SOA) is a short form that lists the topics you've agreed to discuss with me. Medicare requires it before we can talk about specific Medicare Advantage or prescription drug plans. It protects you by keeping our conversation focused on what you want to cover and nothing else. I can text or email it to you, and it takes about a minute to sign electronically.

Medicare also requires a 48-hour* wait between signing your SOA and reviewing plan quotes.

A note on Medigap: discussing Medicare Supplement (Medigap) plans does not require an SOA. However, because Medigap plans do not include Part D prescription drug coverage, Part D is typically part of the Medigap conversation, and an SOA is required for that portion.

*This Medicare requirement is changing as of October 1, 2026, after which the wait no longer applies.

ClearGuide's services are always at no cost to you. We're compensated by the insurance carriers when you enroll, never by you.

What It's Like to Work With ClearGuide

Frequently Asked Questions

A1

As an independent broker, I work with multiple insurance companies rather than representing just one. That means you get objective comparisons across plans and carriers, focused entirely on what works best for you.

A2

Nothing. My services are provided at no cost to you. I am compensated by the insurance carriers when you enroll in a plan.

A3

More than most people expect. Navigating Medicare on your own means sorting through plan comparisons, enrollment rules, and coverage gaps without a roadmap. I do that work for you, reducing the stress and overwhelm that comes with decisions that directly affect your health and finances.

A4

I primarily serve Bucks, Chester, Delaware, Montgomery, and Philadelphia Counties in Pennsylvania, and Burlington, Camden, Gloucester, Mercer, Ocean, and Monmouth Counties in New Jersey. I am licensed in both states and welcome clients from across PA and NJ.

A5

Medicare has its own rules, timelines, and enrollment windows that many people are not aware of, and the consequences of making the wrong decision can follow you for life. During my years in member advocacy, I found myself genuinely intrigued by Medicare's complexity. I wanted to solve the puzzle and give clients answers and a path forward that met their specific needs.

Over the years I've helped clients, family, and friends navigate insurance issues and have seen the frustration of unnecessary hurdles, illogical denials, and the very real fear that comes with needing medical care. I started ClearGuide Advisors because I get real satisfaction from simplifying what feels overwhelming and giving people the space to focus on their health rather than insurance worries.

Please submit your consultation request as usual. I’ll follow up while I’m away to coordinate a consultation time that works well for you, and we’ll meet after I return.
